At 10 am, WTM London 2017 opened its doors to travel professionals from around the world. As the leading global event for the travel industry, everyone was here for the same reason; to meet industry professionals and conduct business deals.

That was the topic of focus over in WTM Inspire Theatre earlier today. Susie Ellis, Chairman & CEO of the Global Wellness Institute was on hand to host this in-depth look at this half-trillion-dollar market and where it is heading.

The halls of WTM London 2017 are packed with exhibitors representing countries and regions from the across the globe, presenting a comprehensive range of products and destinations.

Over in the Middle East region we caught up with Lebanon’s Minister of Tourism, Avedis Guidanian, on the Lebanon Pavilion to learn more about this growing destination. Don’t forget to stop by and check out the diverse range of companies on show including Nakhal, Mubasher and Azzi Holiday.
WTM Leaders’ Lunch…
As always WTM London welcomes some of the industry’s biggest names. Today was no exception when the WTM Leaders’ Lunch took place in Platinum Suite 3 & 4.
Guy Verhofstadt, leading MEP and former Prime Minister of Belgium headlined this prestigious gathering of 200 of the travel industry’s most senior leaders.
We spoke to Guy following the lunch to hear his thoughts on Brexit and travel.
