Las Vegas Review-Journal hosts its first-ever Travel Festival in conjunction with the Agewell Expo on Saturday, April 14. The Travel Festival will feature destinations, cruise lines, hotels, casino resorts, tours, airlines, attractions and experiences and much more from exhibitors like The Big Island Of Hawai’i, Costa Rica, Discover Klamath, Prestige Travel, Bluegreen Vacations, Enchanted Memories Travel, Laughlin and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
The Travel Festival, anticipated to attract more than 8,000 attendees, has added Joseph Rosendo to the line-up of presenters. Rosendo, a six-time Emmy Award winner of American Public Television’s “Joseph Rosendo’s Travelscope,” will present on how travel can be a life changing experience. Additionally, the Travel Festival will feature free entertainment by Las Vegas performers Murray SawChuck, The Bronx Wanderers, and Miss Hawai’i Aloha 2018.
The Travel Festival will be held at the Rio Convention Center at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino at 3700 W. Flamingo Rd. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
The Agewell Expo is in its fourth year and features hundreds of local and national information booths and displays, offering the latest in products and resources for active adults 50 and over in exercise, entertainment, education, home improvement and retirement planning from sponsors and exhibitors like Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada, Station Casinos, Star Nursery, DR Horton, T-Mobile, Universal Windows, Airstream Las Vegas, GAD Beauty, Nevada Eye Physicians and AmeriFirst Financial.
