First-time Exhibitors’ plan

The Tourism EXPO Japan Promotion Office has devised a plan for first-time exhibitors in 2018. The plan offers expanded support for travel businesses and organizations coming to the event for the first time ever. For details of the plan please contact mailto:[email protected]

Business Meetings

This year for the first time, Tourism EXPO Japan offers an entirely new opportunity to create a wider network with key travel-related businesses such as publishers and agencies designing advertising materials for the Japanese overseas market. Through such agencies, exhibitors can appeal to the Japanese market in the way which counts most as those PR professionals hold the know-how of the latest market trends and customer expectations of overseas travel.

Media Meetings

Meet the media by making an appointment through the TEJ pre-appointment system. TEJ 2018 comes with a pre-appointment system for the media meetings, too. Exhibitors can secure an appointment with Japanese media and engage them directly with their destination. Keep an eye on the announcements coming at TEJ home page and do not miss the chance to make an appointment.

Ministerial Round Table in collaboration with UNWTO

Tourism EXPO Japan will host the 2nd Ministerial Round Table in collaboration with UNWTO. Approximately 20 tourism ministers and executives of international tourism organizations are expected to convene to discuss strategies and achievements in sustainable tourism and community growth.

September 20 and 21 are reserved for business discussions and industry professionals, and September 22 and 23 is open to the general public. The event is being organized by the Japan Travel and Tourism Association (JTTA), the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA), and the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).
