400 travel influencers descend on Québec City for the first time!

Wanderful has chosen Québec City for the fifth annual Women in Travel Summit (WITS), to be held May 4 to 6, 2018. Over 415 North American women travel influencers will be staying at Fairmont Le Château Frontenac and attending various tourism development conferences. The official opening party, sponsored by Québec City Tourism, will be held on May 4 at the Québec Armoury. This will be the first time this historic building will be used as a venue for private events.

Attendees can expect a legendary welcome from Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year, as well as a luxurious stay that is sure to live up to the hotel’s stellar reputation.

Québec City Tourism will help travel influencers discover the city’s charm by offering historical, cultural, artistic, and gourmet food tours that will also turn a spotlight on Québec City’s unique architectural landscape.

“It’s a huge privilege for Québec City—the first destination in Canada—to host WITS 2018,” said Québec City Tourism Director André Roy. “The international media exposure is an exceptional way to showcase our city. We are thrilled to be innovating and working more with influencers.”

The Women in Travel Summit is the premier event for women travel influencers, organized by Wanderful. Its goal is to connect its global community of specialists and equip them with the industry’s best tools and resources.
