India is confident of putting up an impressive show at the PATA Adventure Travel and Responsible Tourism Conference and Mart 2019 (ATRTCM 2019)scheduled to be held in Rishikesh in the Himalayas from February 13 to 15, 2019.
The Uttarakhand government, the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) headed by Swadesk Kumar, and the PATA India Chapter, plus local stakeholders, are making great efforts that the best use is made of the opportunity, where buyers and sellers will meet, and delegates will get to see the product as such.
A team from PATA headquarters is in India to promote the event, and attractive offers have been made to entice Indian agents to be present at the event in any capacity that suits them.
Both Kumar and PATA India ED Runeep Sangha along with the visiting PATA team, made eloquent presentations before the agents, highlighting the importance of the show.
On December 11, the top brass went to Rishikesh to meet local stakehoders. Swadesh Kumar pointed out that the concept of adventure is changing and includes yoga, wellness, nature, and interaction with local communities.
Senior Uttarakhand officials said that the State has much to offer by way of adventure activities.
