The second annual India Tourism Mart opened today welcoming 240 international buyers from 51 countries and 175 sellers from India.
This year’s Tourism Mart runs from September 23-25, 2019 and is being held at the Ashok Hotel in New Delhi.
The 3-day event has attracted buyers from diverse countries while sellers from India include state representatives, hotels, and agencies.
Minister Patel said at the opening that the reduction in tax on hotels has come at the right time. He said that all the 5 demands of the industry now stand fulfilled and tourism should be looking up.
The event has been organized by the Ministry of Tourism and FAITH, an apex body of 10 industry associations.
Event activities include an amalgam of exhibition, b2b meetings, conferences and business workshops, and a gala networking dinner.
