India readies for International Hotel, Travel & Tourism Research Conference

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BCIHMCT) has organized the 9th India International Hotel, Travel & Tourism Research Conference scheduled to be held on February 15 and 16, 2019.

The conference is NAAC approved and covers related fields of respective industries through application of theory and practices with a perspective on education, business, industry, services, humanity, environment, and government.

The previous conferences held at BCIHMCT were well attended by national and international delegates from India, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Spain, the UK, Taiwan, the USA, Canada, South Korea, Israel, Thailand, and Malaysia.

Mr. Achin Khanna, Managing Partner – Strategic Advisory for HOTELiVATE, is slated to attend the opening ceremony as the Chief Guest. The conference will include panel discussions, workshops, and formal presentations along with keynote addresses from the eminent speakers namely, Dr. Nitin Malik, Joint Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, and Professor Parikshat Manhas, Director, School of Hospitality & Tourism Management (SHTM), University of Jammu.

Original articles, research papers, and case studies that highlight the issues related to the theme in different aspects from academicians, practitioners, and policymakers are being considered. Selected quality papers shall be published in the annual Hospitality Management Journal, “Indian Journal of Applied Hospitality & Tourism Research,” Vol. 11, (ISSN 0975-4954). The journal is indexed with ISRA. Selected papers from the conference will also be published in an ISBN Book no. 978-81-920850-8-1.
