Hotel Arts Barcelona and WE COLLECT Present Ana Pavón’s New Art Installation

Hotel Arts Barcelona, the city’s architectural icon, has unveiled WE COLLECT, a new piece of art by up-and-coming Spanish artist Ana Pavón that was specifically made for the hotel, THE 30th-floor Arts Pro, as the next stage of its creative partnership.
Arts Suite by WE COLLECT is a living room devoted to showcasing contemporary art. A new designer is given the go-ahead to produce an original site-specific piece every three months. It is an art initiative that aims to support young emerging creatives and offer more established artists an opportunity to connect with an audience.

The latest piece by Ana Pavón, titled” Con,” attempts to create an eroticism to the artwork by focusing the viewer’s attention on the canvas ‘ area by using plastic to express the idea of the hidden as a method of romance.

The work’s real content is revealed by the question itself and the possibilities it presents. The artist wants to create a setting that is more evocative than descriptive, the perfect setting for fiction, and invites the perceiver to have more visual than interpretive experiences.
