South Africa Tourism held a roadshow in Delhi, India, on February 8 with an impressive participation of hotels, airlines, resorts, and agents.

South Africa Tourism is very active in India and holds multi-city roadshows each year, which are well attended. India and South Africa have old links, dating back to the days of Mahatma Gandhi and before, when many people from India settled there.

The focus of the Delhi roadshow was on creating awareness of the various attractions and products, and much attention was also given to conservancy efforts by Camp Jabulani, offering an extraordinary African experience in the greater Kruger area.

The Aquila collection, with a private game reserve and spa, Inverdoorn private reserve and Kuganha tented camp were also being marketed.

The three Hilton properties in Durba, Capetown and J’burg,  were also at the show, as was India and several Hilton properties.

The Ethiopian, which has a wide network in Africa, was also present, through its GSA, Stic Travels.
