The Indian Culinary Forum (ICF) is celebrating the 15th International Chefs’ Day, Chef Awards and Chef and Child charity dinner on October 4 at the Leela Ambience Hotel Gurugram.
The day is organized by the ICF and the Indian Culinary Federation of culinary associations. The event seeks to honor chefs and recognize their role in the hospitality industry and in society at large.
Awards will be given in 16 different categories for excellence in cooking, and trade tests will be conducted in 11 categories. Amitaba Kant, CEO of NITI Aayog, who has himself spent long years in tourism and hospitality, will give out the awards.
The day will also see a Knowledge Summit, where the theme this year is: F&B – the next convergence. The day will start with the 6th Chef Summit in the morning, and as the usual format, the evening will be dedicated for Chef Awards.
For the first time in its 15 year-long organization of Annual Chef Awards, the ICF will host their annual Chef Awards function outside of Delhi, in Gurgaon. The 15th annual essay of World Chef Day celebrations and Chef Awards will be held at The Leela Ambience Hotel in Gurgaon on October 4. ICF has been holding the annual event in The Ashok Hotel Delhi till now.
