The host nation and guests will be welcomed by Kai Wegner, Berlin’s governing governor, and Dieter Janecek, the country’s sea business and tourism consultant. Julia Simpson, the president and CEO of the World Travel and Tourism Council ( WTTC ), and Zurab Pololikashvili, the Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization ( UN Tourism ), will serve as the representatives from the travel industry. Dr. Mario Tobias, the CEO of Messe Berlin, did represent ITB Berlin.
The market can anticipate an enthralling trip through the various aspects of this nation, which is divided into three sections. The first section will show the beauty of Oman, showing its stunning natural miracles, rich traditions, and characteristics that reflect the Sultanate of Oman’s cultural heritage. The next section will focus on Oman’s development, focusing on both its development efforts and the preservation of its social identity. It does cover subjects ranging from craft to religion to education to individual rights. The Sultanate of Oman will eventually reveal new ideas, sustainable tourism growth, and its global role in the second part of the” Vision 2040″ book.
Additionally, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra, Omani performers and folk bands will be performing a dynamic system. This intriguing functionality will feature both contemporary Omani customs, melodies, and contemporary music compositions. Importantly, this is the long-awaited Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra’s return to Germany after a 17-year break. It occupies a special status as one of the few opera orchestras in the Arab World with a European impact. Equally impressive is the fact that every member of the ensemble has been born in Oman since its founding.
A welcome may be held by the host country at the CityCube Berlin following the ceremony, which will feature delicious Sultanate of Oman dishes. Oman to host the 2024 ITB in Berlin with a spectacular show
