One of the world’s largest tourism trade fairs, Tourism EXPO Japan 2018, will take place from Thursday, September 20 to Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Tokyo Big Sight Conference Center in Japan. The event is being hosted by the Japan Travel and Tourism Association, the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA), and the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).

Negotiation meetings will be held over a 2-day period by appointments made prior to the event, so it will be jam-packed with B2B meetings in a high-efficiency networking model with direct promotion to visitors from the general public. The exhibition period has been extended to 4 days with meeting and business days conducted on September 20 and 21, and public days open on September 22 and 23.

Organizers are anticipating over 50,000 tourism industry professionals to participate with over 140,000 consumers visiting the event.

Over the course of the 2 days of business meetings, attendees will be provided with a Key Person List – a collection of business card data from participating buyers. This allows for expansion of networking with key people in the industry and business negotiation with a variety of companies that support the tourism industry.

During the exhibition days that are open to the public, exhibitors have the chance to engage in direct promotion and marketing with visitors from the general public who are interested in travel as well as top people in the industry from all around Japan and the world. There will also be forums and seminar on offer as well as the chance to win the Japan Tourism Award at the negotiation venue.
